Mr. Gay Canada Gets Ready for the Mr. Gay World Competition
Mr. Gay Canada releases the first of FOUR PSA's to hit the Air Waves on various networks including OUTtv
Vancouver, BC (December 10, 2008) - Mr Gay Canada, Darren Bruce, enjoyed a day in the lavish facilities of the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Spa and Health Club. Mr Gay Canada is now preparing for the Mr Gay World competition that will see representatives from 24 countries vying for the international title. For the first time, the event is happening in Canada and it will see the North Vancouver engineer back in Whistler to go through a series of tasks and show the world Canadians do it best. Darren has been meeting community leaders since receiving the title of Mr Gay Canada and created a series of PSA's (Public Service Announcements) about respect, equality and abolishing homophobia, that will see the airwaves in the near future. "All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights" The first public service announcement from the Mr Gay Canada team focuses on equality. From February 1 to 8, 2009, Whistler becomes a wonderland for the lesbian and gay community. Mr Gay World delegates will be the cast for the United Colours of WinterPRIDE Fashion Show and the Mr Gay World Finale will be on the last night before the popular Snowball event. |
