MyLifeLine.org Connections - May 2012

 Greetings!

I would like thank all of those who attended and supported our annual Jockeys, Juleps and Jazz Kentucky Derby Event was held in May 5th. It was our most successful event yet raising over $230,000! We would like to thank our event sponsors and those who gave so generously at the event by purchasing live and silent auction items and lifelines.

We were pleased to recognize two very special people during this event. Dr. Jeremy Geffen was the recipient of the George Karl Compassion Award for his life's work in helping cancer patients in the oncology field. Britton Thomas was the recipient of the George Karl Courage Award for his super hero caregiving to his wife Jax who sadly passed away in February. The event's success will ensure that we are able to continue to support families affected by cancer by providing free personal websites to any cancer patient and their caregivers so that they can connect to their loved ones during this challenging time in their lives.

We'd like to invite you to JOIN US as we move into summer! Read on below for ways you can help  us finish 2012 strong!
