Greetings!
Happy New Year! Hope it is off to a great beginning. For me there is something that always feels good about bringing in a new year. It feels like a fresh start and gets a lot of us thinking about what we want our future year to look like. A time for renewal and transformation. I say start the new year with a positive attitude! I love the quote above and believe it wholeheartedly. ENERGY FOLLOWS THOUGHT. Choose your thoughts well.
Remember, you make your own limitations - the heavens have none.
Happy 2010!
Cheers,
Lynn

RESOLUTIONS
Well we ate all the goodies, we indulged, we cheered and toasted good times. So now what? RESOLUTION TIME for most. Time to get serious. Right? For many, this is a time of year for goal setting and getting things accomplished. Lots of you have probably just started new diets, workout regimes, and other various 2010 to do lists. The gyms are busier and we are back to business! Typically everyone is very motivated about their new or revised intentions in January, but then the motivation starts to fade. Most of us know what it is we want to change and what we need to do but then why is it so hard for us to get the job done? Often people try to do too much at once and get overwhelmed. Also, many of us need support and accountability to follow through on our plans. I advise to giving some good thought to what you want to achieve, prioritizing your goals and then choose to execute only your top one or two. Then examine what action is needed to get you there. You will need a plan. How will you stay on task? What will it take to follow through? What has or has not worked in the past? How will you sustain your energy and focus? Hopefully you can get clear on these points and get going on your goals leading to forward momentum and feelings of gratification. - No longer just surviving or striving but thriving!
- Need resolution support? I am an expert at helping people take small, simple steps to reach big sustainable results.

Quick Tips for Eating Healthy on a Budget
1) Make a list - have a list of nutritious foods and don't go the the grocery store hungry!
2) Go to the Farmer's Market - it's cheaper and fresher!
3) Shop the bulk isle - you can achieve huge savings in the bulk section on things such as nuts, oatmeal, dried fruit, etc..
4) Pack healthy snacks - take snacks with you to events or recreational activities such as the movies, skiing, etc..
5) Home cooked meals - eating out costs more and at home you have more control over healthy choices.
6) Buy in season - fruits and vegetables that are in season are typically less money, more nutritious and taste better.
7) Use coupons - if you are organized you can really save with coupons, but be careful not to buy things that you don't need just because you are getting a discount.
