Lifestyle and Nutrition Coaching
We offer holistic health programs that will radically change your view on food, nutrition, and life. The programs are typically implemented across six months, because true change never happens quickly and involves a gradual transition from old habits to newer, healthier ways. Our programs will help you to break down barriers and balance all aspects of your life: career, relationships, physical activity, spirituality, and food. Come explore if an Inspired To Health program is right for you or someone in your life. The initial consultation will provide valuable information to help on your path to vibrant health and better eating.

Greetings!

For anyone who lives in the seasons they are starting to both feel and witness signs of spring! The sun has shifted, the birds are singing early morning, animals are emerging as are people! Spring breeds (among other things :)) a new energy and feeling in the air. It's a great time of year. Rebirth, renewal, fresh starts!  Spring is a great time of year to get rid of the old and bring in the new.  Whether it be cleaning out closets or letting go of old habits that do not serve our higher good, now is a great time to make some changes. I recommend doing something new and refreshing this spring.  Don't get caught up in the how's or why not's...  Just start with what you can - where you are today, and honor that!

Lynn's Top 10 Tips for Spring Cleaning from the Inside Out Here are some ideas for some cleansing both inwardly and outwardly.

1.  Goal Setting - make a plan and take action.  This takes some decision making and thought about getting clear about what you want. Prioritizing is key to progressing forward. It's also important to take a close look at what things are getting in your way. Writing down goals is highly effective.

2.  Really examine your diet.  Are there some things you can eliminate that would help you feel better?  Pick one food or area of food that you don't think is serving your better health and try to cut it out for a week. That could mean one particular food like ice cream or a broader range such as all processed foods, wheat, dairy, sugar, or caffeine...  Experiment and see how your body feels once it gets used to the pattern change.

3.  Take time for self care, slow down, what is something fresh and new you could try or add to your life?

4.  Letting go of old or useless things...Material things not only take up space in our surroundings but also in our minds.  Declutter both!

5.  Incorporate more whole foods.  Eliminate more foods that are from a box or a can and add foods that come directly from the earth!  Fresh produce and raw foods are especially nourishing because they are more alive and therefore make us feel the same!

6.  Journaling - is a great way to purge things that bother us and also to help get clear on our feelings, desires...  Try to take even 5 minutes a day to write down whatever is on your mind.  Morning or before bed is a great time for this.

7.  Get organized.  Examine what role organization plays in your life.  Are you organized?  Does lack of organization hold you back and bog you down from achieving your ideal goals?  Instead of getting overwhelmed, start with one small task that would help you get your life in better order and start practicing that until it becomes a habit.

8.  Water, water, water.... drink it, drink it, drink it!

9.  Get GREEN! Think about what areas of your home, self care and life you could make more "GREEN".  Toxins are everywhere and the amount of disease out there proves it!  Make a point to further educate yourself on what is polluting your immediate "space" and body.  Examine household cleaning products, the amount of mold in your home, what beauty products you are putting directly on your skin, etc...

10. Bravely face and embrace change.  Life is always changing and so are we!  Embrace change with open arms and seek the knowledge and lessons it brings.  When we do this it helps us stay young, flexible and refreshed.

Testimonials:

"I want to thank you Lynn for bringing your stress management training program to Miller Canfield Law Firm.  We look for training programs that offer a double benefit: they must be helpful to the company's success and individually enjoyable and beneficial for the employees.  It is rare for us to find programs that do both things well.  Your combination of practical ideas and tools for personal insight is balanced and practical.
Attendees appreciate that the Firm offers training for them, personally- not just professional education.  We were especially appreciative that you worked with us to design a presentation that addressed issues unique to our business culture.  You have helped us send the message to our employees that we are serious about the importance of a balanced life."
Suzanne Schultz, General Manager - Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone LLC., Law Firm

"I recommend Lynn to all of my friends, collegues and others when health issues are discussed.  She is an amazing listener and extremely insightful.  Our counseling sessions and her recommendations have transformed my life.  I was leery at first about having a health counselor since I have always thought I can do anything on my own.  Afterwards, I couldn't be happier with the changes in my life due to Lynn."
Jack Clayton, CEO - Design Architecture Firm

"Lynn, at Inspired to Health, helped me to change my entire relationship with food and to take control of my life!  I had been on every diet imaginable and my weight had yo-yoed my entire life.  Lynn helped me learn to listen to my body and take small steps to change my dysfunctional habits.  I lost weight without denying myself of many of the foods I love.  Lynn helped educate me about how delicious food can be that is actually good for my body!  My energy levels and whole life has changed for the better as has my respect for myself and my health. Lynn's approach and caring nature creates a safe space, motivation and inspiration for change and growth. Thank you! Thank you!"
