Benefits of Ideal Health Testing
Includes Custom Nutrition and Metabolic Testing
AllerTest® Blood Spot Specimen Analysis
DigestTest® Urine Specimen Analysis
EstrogenaTest® Urine Specimen Analysis
OsteoTest® Urine Specimen Analysis
StressTest® Saliva Specimen Analysis
Wouldn't it be great to take a stress test to see how our adrenal glands perform in crisis? Or find out what foods we are allergic to? Or how strong our bones are? Or how well our digestive enzymes are working? Or whether we should eat more or less protein and carbohydrates based on insulin resistance?
I have recently partnered with a company that offers in-home testing for these imbalances. Then they create a supplement that addresses these issues and is created just for YOUR needs, not a generic one size fits all supplement. This is designed just for YOU based on your own bodies needs. Better yet, the ingredients are pharmaceutical grade, so they far surpass any over the counter product. They also contain organic herbs and whole food ingredients.
Without the high cost of doctors visits we can now take home tests and send to a respective laboratory for analysis. A report will follow that describes where we are deficient and how we can make improvements. So simple, yet so effective. Brilliant.

| Greetings!
Hola. I just returned from Nosara, Costa Rica. What an amazing adventure! I write below of trying new things (something I've always required of myself), and this was a new place for me filled with novel experiences. I had never spent time in a jungle, let alone zip-lining on a canopy tour over one at 600 ft., waterfalls and monkey lined trees below! I was there to relax but also learn about offering corporate and other retreats in desirable destinations for my business.
Summer typically helps us slow down a bit, but this took it to another level! So lush mixed with the ocean and incredible beaches. No car, very little commercial influence, no phone, no internet (by choice!), just the beauty of nature and all it gives us. Great local organic fruits, fresh fish, lots of yoga and a surfing paradise. I don't know if I've ever felt so refreshed combined with such clarity. It really makes you realize that we don't need "that much" to feel good in life. In fact maybe less truly is more!

Try Something New
Summer is still here, and the living is easy! Do you notice how during summertime everything seems promising? The plants are in full bloom, and the sun feels amazing. The longer days give you boundless energy, making you feel like it's possible to achieve all your desires and dreams. Why not harness this energy and try something new? Throughout the year we live at an intense pace (physical, emotional and mental), and we often get stuck in routine, either for the sake of efficiency or out of fear of unfamiliar territory. The lack of variety in doing the same things over and over not only stagnates our minds, but also our bodies and hearts. Not good. Hesitant to break your routine? It is interesting to note that fear and excitement have the same physiological expression in our bodies. It is our mind that classifies the feeling as either positive or negative. We actually choose! So the next time you consider a change in routine and your mind says "scary" see if you can re-frame it as "exciting", or an opportunity to grow! What is something you have never done before, or that you have wanted to do for a long time? Choose something: rent a kayak, take a dance class, do some exotic traveling or set a goal for a new personal challenge. Or try something simple, like playing a new game with your kids, or sitting and just "being" on a park bench. Maybe it's time to discover a new food dish or to visit a new town, restaurant or beach. Whatever adventure calls to you, summer is a great time to make it happen and enjoy the life you came here for! Increasing new experiences and excitement in your life can decrease your need for and dependence on artificial stimulants like caffeine, and sugar, leading to more vibrant health. Watch out for massive improvements in physical well-being, mental acuity and motivation, plus a fuller portfolio of fun!

| Safe Toy Bill |
|
|
After months of hard work, a strong product and toy safety bill has been finalized by Congress and was passed in the Senate! The bill includes important new protections: a ban on lead in children's products, a public database of problem products, and tougher fines and enforcement, including imports. It also bans a certain chemical in children's products, called phthalates, that's been linked to reproductive problems and some cancers. Kids ingest it simply by chewing on plastic toys, like rubber ducks and balls. These chemicals can easily leach into children's bodies, where they remain for life and can lead to serious health problems. Thank you to everyone who went to Protect Our Children and sent an email to the President telling him to put your families' safety first.

Raw and Cooling Salads
Why is it that in the summer we naturally crave more fresh and raw foods? These foods have a cooling effect on the body. The lightness and high water, fiber and vitamin content work together to act as our internal air conditioning during these warm months. At this time of year we also need less dense, high-energy food, because we get so much energy from being outside in the fresh air and sunshine. There is no better season than summer to have fun creating your own fresh, tasty, creative salad combinations. By simply tossing together several of your favorite raw veggies, naked or with a light dressing, you have a perfect meal for a hot summer's day. Try your favorite leafy lettuce with various sliced, diced or grated veggies. The possible combinations are endless. Fresh herbs are a wonderful option to mix in, as they are packed full of flavor. Experiment with adding diverse forms of protein to your salads, such as nuts, seeds, beans, tofu, fish or poultry. Pick up a light and healthy dressing at your local health food store, or mix up something easy, like lemon juice, black pepper and olive oil. This is a great opportunity to try a new vegetable from your market. What are some creative flavors you've never tried before? Fennel and mint? Daikon radish and arugula? Summer squash with watercress? Whatever you choose, have fun with your food and stay cool.
