- Heal a bithmother who is struggling with depression during her pregnancy
 
- Direction for a birthmother who feels trapped to parent because of the birthfather's desires
 
- Open the spiritual eyes of clients who need the transforming work of the Holy Spirit
 
 - Bring Resolution to an on-going court case regarding a little girl 
 
- Fix the hope of couples waiting to adopt our Father's perfect timing 
 
- Increase the number of African American Christian couples who will build their family through adoption

Annual Retreat to Honor Birthmothers

Next month we will be hosting Covenant Care's annual "Our Shoes Retreat" at Camp Westminster. It is a sweet time to pamper, honor, and minister to brave, sacrificial women who placed a child for adoption!
 
Would you like to be part of this ministry? We are collecting items to shower on these women during the retreat. Below are some ideas that fit into the "Health Heart, Health Life" theme for this year.
  • Water bottles
  • Ankle socks (for exercising)
  • Jump ropes
  • Pedometers
  • Health granola bars
  • Dark chocolate
  • Pony tail holders
  • Writing journal and pen
  • Chapstick
  • Magazines (either Christian or fitness theme)
  • A book that is easy to read and encouraging
  • Christian CD
  • Facial care products
  • Small hand towels (monogrammed with a verse?)

If you (or your youth group, Sunday school class, etc.!) would like to contribute, please contact Loren Rae before February 25. Thank you in advance for joining with us to love these precious women!
