Greetings!

This has been a week of exploring for me. Pop over to our blog and see the fibery (and non-fibery) things Debbie and I have done while visiting California for CNCH (Conference of Northern Californian Handweavers).

Girls Nite is Tonight
Clara and Joy will be hosting. Bring your knitting and spinning and come to the shop for great conversation and inspiration from 7 to 10.
Friend of Heritage: Maureen Keenan
MaureenHeritage lost a dear friend last week. Maureen Keenan, knitter and spinner extraordinaire and new weaver, lost her battle with Melanoma. When she was no longer able to work as a teacher, Maureen adopted us as her home-away-from-home. In a way, her teaching continued here with young and old alike. Her last project speaks volumes: it was a crocheted chemo cap for donation. We will all miss Maureen.

A question for the weavers . . .

I had an interesting response last week to my question about considering developing an in-store, self-guided class for weavers. I heard from distance newsletters readers (from as far away as the British Isles) that they'd essentially like a class in a box, but I didn't hear from many local folks. We will work on getting a test class ready that could fit both local and distance needs and let you know when it is ready.

Happy Fibering!
