| Greetings!
This has been a week of exploring for me. Pop over to our blog and see the fibery (and non-fibery) things Debbie and I have done while visiting California for CNCH (Conference of Northern Californian Handweavers).
Girls Nite is Tonight
Clara and Joy will be hosting. Bring your knitting and spinning and come to the shop for great conversation and inspiration from 7 to 10. |
| Friend of Heritage: Maureen Keenan |
|
Heritage lost a dear friend last week. Maureen Keenan, knitter and spinner extraordinaire and new weaver, lost her battle with Melanoma. When she was no longer able to work as a teacher, Maureen adopted us as her home-away-from-home. In a way, her teaching continued here with young and old alike. Her last project speaks volumes: it was a crocheted chemo cap for donation. We will all miss Maureen. |
