Mini Mochi is a new yarn from Crystal Palace Yarns that knits up in broad stripes, is very soft to the touch and has tons of possibilities. At TNNA I used this yarn to warp up a demo Knitter's Loom. On the loom you could see how graceful the color changes are. 195 yards, 50 grams. Blend of 80% merino and 20% nylon. 
The yarn that brings smiles is an On-Line sock yarn called Florida. The colors remind me of the color homes are painted in the Caribbean. Each skein has 100 grams/420 meters of yarn - enough for an average sized pair of 
socks. I could also see this yarn used for kids knitting. 
Here's a breath of spring. This is Heather, grand daughter to Nancy Poettinger. Heather is wearing
