Beginning Quilting - Teacher:  Betty Adams

Friday April 8thth     1:00-5:00                         Fee: $15

The rail fence quilt top is one of the easiest and quickest to make.  It can be made using 3, 4, or as many rails as you wish.   All the strips are cut the width of the fabric then sewn into strip sets.  You can cut the strips whatever width you wish.  To determine the size of the blocks, measure the width of several strip sets to get an average width.  Then cut your strip sets into squares.  The squares are then arranged to make the top.

Embroidery Club

 A Wet Needle Tip
When threading a needle wet the eye of the needle instead of the thread. This helps "wick" the thread through the eye. It works well on both hand and machine needles.
