The Stitchers of Hope, a chapter of the American Sewing Guild will be meeting on the first Tuesday of every month at 10:00. Come learn and share projects with a great group.
Beginner Sewing - Teacher: Sharon Sears
August 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th 6:00-7:30 Fee: $80
Beginning Sewing class. This months project is a Zippered Tote Bag. Fabric is supplied. Basic sewing supplies are needed for this class.
Pinwheel Star Quilt Block - Teacher: Betty Adams
Thursday June 15th 2:00-5:00 Fee: $10
There are many pinwheel quilt blocks. This is one of our favorites. We prefer the reproduction fabrics for this block. The colors are so pure and all go well together. Come in and learn to make this classic block.
Embroidery Club
Wednesday July 14th 1 to 2p.m Fee: None
Everyone with an embroidery machine is welcome. This is an opportunity to meet with other embroiders, share ideas and make fun projects. Club meets the second Wednesday of each month. Call for details as to what we are making and to get a supply list. Don't forget to bring your sew n tell.

Choose which class time is best for you
If you have always wanted to learn how to quilt but were afraid you couldn't do it, this is the class for you. Learn the beginning techniques for making a quilt, using a rotary cutter and ruler, sewing ¼" seams, and squaring up your blocks. Back by popular demand is the Log Cabin Quilt. There are so many variations of this beautiful and easy quilt block. We will be doing the standard light and dark blocks.
Fabric and notions must be purchased from Fenton Sew N Vac and a 10% discount applies to items purchased for class. The class is being offered at two separate times for your convenience.
Kids Club - Teacher: Robin Zimmer Fee: $15
Choose from 10:00, 12:00 or 2:00 class for your convenience according to your schedule.
You can register for class either at the store or by phone. Fees are due at the time of registration and can be paid in person at the store, by credit card over the phone, or with a check through the mail. A paid class fee is the only thing that guarantees your spot in class and prevents you from being "bumped: when the class fills.
Class registration closes three (3) days prior to the scheduled class date.
No fees will be refunded or credits issued for a missed class. Our commitment to our instructors does not allow make-up classes. Refunds or in-store credits will be issues only if: (a) The store cancels the class, or (b) You notify us three (3) days prior to the scheduled class date.
Only registered students may attend a class. Any one "sitting-in" must also register.
In order to provide high-quality sewing education, we ask that materials and supplies for classes be purchased at Sew N Vac whenever possible. Students are eligible to receive a 10% discount off regular priced merchandise for class materials and/or for purchases of regularly priced merchandise on the day of the class.
Please refrain from using colognes and perfumes; someone in class may have an allergic reaction to heavy fragrances.
The classroom opens 15 minutes before scheduled class time.
