Beginning Sewing class. This months project is an apron. Fabric is supplied. Basic sewing supplies are needed for this class.

Embroidery Club

Everyone with an embroidery machine is welcome. This is an opportunity to meet with other embroiders, share ideas and make fun projects. Club meets the second Wednesday of each month. Call for details as to what we are making and to get a supply list. Don't forget to bring your sew n tell.

Choose which class time is best for you
If you have always wanted to learn how to quilt but were afraid you couldn't do it, this is the class for you. Learn the beginning techniques for making a quilt, using a rotary cutter and ruler, sewing ¼" seams, and squaring up your blocks. The churn dash is an old pattern. It is also known as the double monkey wrench. In this beginning class, you will be learning to use the rotary cutter and rulers. You will be learning to make half square triangles without having to worry about sewing on bias seams.
Fabric and notions must be purchased from Fenton Sew N Vac and a 10% discount applies to items purchased for class. The class is being offered at two separate times for your convenience.
Stack N Whack Fan Quilt - Teacher: Robin Zimmer

COME LEARN ANOTHER VARIATION OF THE STACK AND WHACK QUILTS. THE FAN QUILT IS QUICK AND EASY TO MAKE. LEARN APPLIQUE, USING A WING NEEDLE WITH STABILIZER, AND SETTING SQUARES ON POINT ALL IN ONE QUILT.

Choose from 10:00, 12:00 or 2:00 class for your convenience according to your schedule.
You can register for class either at the store or by phone. Fees are due at the time of registration and can be paid in person at the store, by credit card over the phone, or with a check through the mail. A paid class fee is the only thing that guarantees your spot in class and prevents you from being "bumped: when the class fills.
Class registration closes three (3) days prior to the scheduled class date.
No fees will be refunded or credits issued for a missed class. Our commitment to our instructors does not allow make-up classes. Refunds or in-store credits will be issues only if: (a) The store cancels the class, or (b) You notify us three (3) days prior to the scheduled class date.
Only registered students may attend a class. Any one "sitting-in" must also register.
In order to provide high-quality sewing education, we ask that materials and supplies for classes be purchased at Sew N Vac whenever possible. Students are eligible to receive a 10% discount off regular priced merchandise for class materials and/or for purchases of regularly priced merchandise on the day of the class.
Please refrain from using colognes and perfumes; someone in class may have an allergic reaction to heavy fragrances.
The classroom opens 15 minutes before scheduled class time.
