Trillium USA Signs New CNG Station Service Contract with "The T" in Fort WorthPress Release

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah-September 8, 2011-Trillium USA expanded CNG operations in Texas this month with a contract to provide operations and maintenance services for the Fort Worth Transportation Authority, known as The T. Effective immediately, Trillium USA has assumed operation of The T's compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling facility after winning a competitive procurement.

The service contract covers five natural gas compressors that total 2000 horsepower, and other associated station equipment. The high-performance fueling station produces 4000 standard cubic feet per minute, or 29 diesel gallon equivalents per minute, of CNG fuel.

"We are excited about this opportunity to work with The T and look forward to further expansion in Texas," said Mark Barton, Trillium USA's President. "Trillium is dedicated to quality, and we welcome the opportunity to support The T's stellar record of providing clean, American-fuelled transportation to their customers."

The T was among the first U.S. transit agencies in the late-1980s to commit to conversion of its entire fleet to compressed natural gas. The T operates a fleet of nearly 200 buses, vans, trolleys and utility vehicles.

In 2009, The T began a national transit natural gas coalition to assist public transportation agencies interested in converting to natural gas and as an information exchange for other transit users, manufacturers and vendors.
