Trillium Hires Bill Zobel as Senior Vice President of Business Development

Trillium USA
today announced that William "Bill" Zobel will join the company as
Senior Vice President of Business Development. He will lead Trillium's efforts
for strategic growth in the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) marketplace. Zobel
will report to Trillium President Mark Barton. He is joining Trillium from
Sempra Energy, where he was the manager of Clean Transportation programs.

Trillium has
established itself as a premier provider of CNG fueling infrastructure with an
emphasis on high volume users such as transit agencies. With Mr. Zobel's
demonstrated ability to develop new customer bases, Trillium plans to expand
into other markets segments as well.

Mr. Zobel has 22 years of experience in the energy sector
ranging from environmental policy, to plant operations, process engineering and
design, and directed research. He most
recently served as manager of the San Diego Gas and Electric and
Southern California Gas Company's Clean Transportation programs. In this role,
Bill was responsible for the development and execution of the joint utilities'
alternative fuels program which included customer education and outreach,
development of alternative transportation fuel policy, external advocacy, and
demonstration/ commercialization of natural gas and electric vehicle drive
technologies.
Mr. Zobel has a long history of public service and
volunteerism and has served in leadership positions on a variety of non-profit
boards, foundations, and trade associations. He currently serves as Chairman of
the California Natural Gas Vehicle Coalition (CNGVC), and sits on the boards of
NGV America, CalStart, and the California Electric Transportation Coalition
(CalETC). He has previously served as Chairman of the California Manufacturers
and Technology Association's (CMTA) committee on environmental quality,
vice-chairman of the Conservation Corps of Long Beach, and vice chairman of the
Moonlight Cultural Foundation. He continues to be an active member of both the
Pacific International Council and the California
Council for Environmental and Economic Balance (CCEEB).
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical
Engineering from California State University Long Beach, and is a graduate of Columbia University's executive business program.
He lives in Escondido, CA with his wife and two children.
Mr. Zobel's first
day with Trillium will be September 9, 2009. He will be based in Escondido, CA.
