This Issue: 2011 CARIBOU HUNT EXCELLENT
We are now entering the third week of our 2011 caribou season and things are progressing nicely. We have had a steady stream of animals filtering through the area, offering excellent opportunities. All hunters from week one and two are tagged out with some really nice animals taken. We are really looking forward to our final week as the ‘scuttlebutt’ is there is a huge whack of animals on their way down. Temps have varied from mild to snow - a typical fall.

BABE WINKLEMAN 2 DAY SHOOT
Babe Winkleman and his daughter MacKenzie joined us last week and the hunt/film shoot went well. The end result – 4 nice caribou in less than two days. It certainly was one of the quickest TV shoots we have ever seen and with the utilization of two cameramen, some amazing footage.
One sequence using both cameras shows Babe and MacKenzie taking two caribou less than 20’ apart in a 3 second span. It will be an awesome show. Babe was absolutely ecstatic with the results and a very proud pop, as this was MacKenzie’s first exotic big game hunt. Babe and his team definitely produce some of the finest TV shows in outdoor viewing. They have previously filmed several great fishing shows and one bear hunting show with us so we can’t wait to see this one hit the airwaves.
