This Issue: GREAT FATHER AND SON HUNT

Todd Pope and his father David were admittedly ‘novice ‘ bear hunters. Just hopeful for a good experience, they certainly got that and much, much more. Hunting at Sandy Lake with veteran guide Bob Ross, they took two bears of a lifetime.  Dad took a beautiful blonde measuring over 6’ and at an estimated 300 lbs. +. That alone was the trophy of a lifetime and would make any trip. But the best was yet to come. Todd soon had him beat, with a monster chocolate/cinnamon stretching well over 7’.  It was a beautiful bear and possibly our most impressive of the 2010 season. Needless to say, they were ecstatic and the combination of phenomenal bear hunting and fishing gave them the trip of a lifetime, one they will never forget.
