Mark your calendars as the Career Express from Microsoft arrives at TrainingtoYOU's Phoenix office. This is a huge national event from Microsoft that is a eleven-day odyssey across America beginning May 1st in Tampa, Florida and ending May 11th at TechED 2009 in Los Angeles California.
The Career Express bus will be at our office on Saturday May 9th around 3:00 PM. One lucky winner will get to GET ON THE BUS and win a free trip to LA and a free pass to TechED ($2195 value), hotel in LA and a airline ticket back to Phoenix!
There will be lots of giveways and raffles so make sure you come join us for this fun event!

 Hear the heart of Training to YOU's CEO and Founder Tim Smith. "Lots of folks are being laid off in this economy. This is our way of helping the community-by giving back. Training to YOU runs a number of classes in our career acceleration program, and we often have empty seats," Smith said. "Why not offer those empty seats to people who could really benefit? A few classes could make a huge impact on their hire-ability and income." Classes run for one half-day each, although students may register for more than one class. Class size is limited to 12, and each student receives instructor-led classroom training and a manual for ready reference. Fees for each class are normally $120 but un- or under-employed people are only asked to pay what they can afford.
"This is basically an honor system. We consider under-employed people as those who are working in minimum or near-minimum wage jobs who can't afford to get the skills and certification to move up. We want to help people."

 It was amazing. I would HIGHLY recommend Training To You for any future computer training and our instructor also said they have Project Management classes. From the beginning of the day to the end of the day was worth every minute. The instructor was excellent and adjusted the class to our personal questions and needs. They were gracious, the classroom and computers were top notch and they even bake fresh cookies in the afternoon for a snack!
I really learned a great deal about Excel and actually remember it today because of the practice lab in the afternoon which had us apply our new knowledge to a specific project.
Definitely keep them high on your list for future workshops.
