HOOSIER STAR 2011

Orchestra tunes and singers are prepare to compete for cash prizes and
the title of Hoosier STAR 2011 winner!

It's a new day, it's a new time, it's an evening of great entertainment! 
One surprise performance after another, and best of all, the audience vote determines the winner.

The 6th annual Hoosier Star event is bigger than ever.  The stage will be packed with high energy and high quality performers.  There will be the Hoosier Star Orchestra conducted by Phil Bauman.  To accentuate some of the singers there is a back-up chorus called Illumination directed by Becky Osborn.  Commenting on each of the finalists are three celebrity judges:  John Hancock, movie producer, Jackie Allen and Bunny Fisher, jazz performers.  Introducing the contestants is an high energy host for the evening, Ric Federighi from WIMS 1420AM. 

Audience members can purchase and enjoy delicious refreshments from IVY Tech Community College Culinary School, Temple News Agency, or Little Chocolates.  Or choose your favorite beverage from the cash bar furnished by Portofino's Restaurant

The auditorium's balcony has a great view with live video projections managed by Lakeshore Publlc Television technicians on a large stage screen and thousands of seats available at $15 Adult or $ 5 Child (17 and under).  Upon arrival, every person that holds a ticket will be given two tickets for voting purposes.  One vote for the youth division and one vote for the adult division.  A team from Schmitt and Kaylor CPA's will tabulate the ballot boxes to determine the winners. Everyone can vote, even the kids!
