Renee says, "I am looking forward to COLOR returning! The Smokey Mountain are just beautiful in the spring with the Dogwoods starting to bloom and the "Buttercups" bright and yellow popping up everywhere. And... DOLLYWOOD opens in the spring, we already have our Spring visit planned."

Mark your calendars and get your teams ready for the Great Smoky Mountains Scavenger Hunt! The March 24th scavenger hunt will take place over most of the park using roads and official trails to access particular areas. Some questions will require research to answer and others will require photos (since you're not allowed to take items from the national park). So each team must have a digital camera with memory card. The scavenger hunt will take place over a 24 hour period and teams will recieve their questions via email by 4:30 on Friday March 23 and are due back at Tremont no later than 4:30 pm on Saturday with their answers. A light dinner will be served as the tallying takes place and winners will be announced afterwards.
