Carolyn writes, "We will be ringing in the New Year at home as usual this year. We will be spending the weekend after New Years in the Smoky Mountains in a mountain view chalet. We will enjoy all of the Christmas lights and decorations as much as we did in November. We may try to squeeze in a ride through Cades Cove in hopes of spotting a bear. We consider any time we get to spend in the Smokies to be great and Christmas time in the Smokies with all of the beautiful lights is just grand."
Heather says, "We spent New Years weekend with family and close friends in a cabin in the Smoky Mountains and it couldn't have been any better! We enjoy spending as much time in the Smokies as possible and cherish every trip!" |

Ice Carving Competition

Those champion chainsaw slinging, blowtorch wielding, and ice block chopping sculptors who took Titanic Pigeon Forge by storm last year are back to compete in the 2nd Annual Regional Ice Carving Competition at the Titanic Museum Attraction. The competition will be held on Saturday, January 14 2012 and this year they'll be joined by a new batch of professional and amateur contenders, ready to whip 250-pound blocks of ice into frozen works of art. Bring the family and your camera for this one-day ice spectacular. You don't want to miss this!
