Two Pigeon Forge Hotels Earn Top Awards

 Each year Choice Hotels presents the Gold Award to all hotels in the top 10% and the Platinum Award to the top 5% of their hotels. Two of our Pigeon Forge hotels have received two of these prestigious awards from Choice Hotels. The Quality Inn & Suites at Dollywood Lane received the Platinum Award and was ranked 14th out of 923 Quality Inns in the United States. The Comfort Inn & Suites at Dollywood Lane ranked number 90 out of 1346 and received the Gold Award. Ken Maples, owner of both of these properties, said they are all very pleased. "We have worked hard over the past year and it's been difficult." We are so proud to have such great hotels in the city of Pigeon Forge along with hard working hotel owners who care about their staff and their guests! Ongoing - April 10:Titanic's Rose Petal Memorial Tribute - when you visit Titanic Museum Attraction now and throughout the entire year leading up to April 2012, guests will be given an actual rose petal and that rose petal will be placed into a rose petal memorial case - which will then will be placed out to sea by the Coast Guard at the exact site where we lost Titanic 100 years ago on April 15.
Ongoing - December 31:Christmasfest at the Opry - The Christmas festival, located in front of the new Smoky Mountain Opry will feature a huge outdoor ice skating rink, Ferris wheel, Christmas Carousel, and other family friendly rides. Santa Claus, live reindeer, an outdoor synchronized Christmas Light Show and a choreographed indoor Laser Light Show, food vendors, an Arts and Crafts Christmas Village, horse drawn carriage rides, Santa train rides, and S'mores Pit all complete the new "ChristmasFest at the Opry"
