Kyler says, "I just read about the new Christmasfest about to happen where the Miracle theater is now located next to the Tony Roma's restaurant in Pigeon Forge. Wow I can't wait for my kids to try ice skating. A ferris wheel, and a free dancing light show. Sounds great!! The same folks who put on the Black Bear Jamboree Christmas show. I guarantee my family will go. They always put on great productions. We enjoyed The Miracle and Joseph broadway shows. We can't wait to see the newest Christmas Show in our favorite place to visit Pigeon Forge, TN."
Melissa says, "Our family has made Winterfest a tradition. Our family and my aunt and uncle come from MS to be mesmerized by all the lights!! We love coming for Winterfest each year! It's our second trip out of the year! We stay in Whispering Pines Condos and can sit out on our balcony and see Patriot Park, which is always beautiful. We love going to Dollywood too. A Smoky Mountain Christmas is our favorite show!! Everyone should go see it at least once. I love how Pigeon Forge does the 12 days of Christmas on the Parkway!!"
Dennis writes, "The atmosphere of the Holiday seasons for both Thanksgiving and Christmas is heavy in the air. Everyone and every business gets into the holiday spirit. You get caught up in the activities and decorations (which are beautiful) and can really get into the Holiday spirit yourself. A wonderful time to be in Pigeon Forge.

 It officially feels like fall here in the Smokies! Now is the perfect time to take a hike through the mountains, a scenic drive up to Clingman's Dome or bike through Cades Cove. The temperatures are almost perfect and on a sunny day in the Smokies you're certain to fall in love with these mountains all over again! The higher elevations are starting to change now and that includes the yellow birch, American beech, mountain maple, hobblebush, and pin cherry. The colors are just now starting to change, so it's not too late to plan that fall trip to the Smokies!

October 1 - April 10: Titanic's Rose Petal Memorial Tribute - when you visit Titanic Museum Attraction now and throughout the entire year leading up to April 2012, guests will be given an actual rose petal and that rose petal will be placed into a rose petal memorial case - which will then will be placed out to sea by the Coast Guard at the exact site where we lost Titanic 100 years ago on April 15.
October 6 - 23: Gatlinburg Craftsmen's Fair - Daily 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sundays 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Gatlinburg Convention Center at Gatlinburg Traffic Light #8. Rarely does an event come along that features the wonderful variety of juried artists as the Gatlinburg Craftsmen's Fair. Also featuring bluegrass & country music shows each day at NOON, 2:00 p.m and 4:00 p.m. (NOON and 2:00 on Sundays)
October 7 - 9: Foothills Fall Festival in Maryville, TN - Joining country music legend Reba McEntire and tour mates The Band Perry, and Steel Magnolia will be one of the longest running rock bands in American history - Chicago and country star Sara Evans. October 10 - November 22: Titanic Book Signing and Author Appearances - Titanic Museum Attraction - Several guest authors will come aboard the Titanic Museum Attraction to sign their books and talk about Titanic history with guests.
