Mary writes, "I really Love the Pumpkin Pie fudge I get it at the Comedy Barn every fall. The fudge is great and the prices are the best in the smokies. This place is a hidden gem not just for comedy but sweets and souvenirs."

| Smoky Mountains are the Prefect Fall Foliage Spot
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  The Great Smoky Mountains were named as top spot for fall foliage in two separate Huffington Post articles. The first article was a list TripAdvisor put together of their favorite destinations to spot fall foliage. The Great Smoky Mountains, Tennessee came in number four on their list! The next article was from Sherman's Travel who listed 5 Unforgettable Fall Foliage Drives. The Great Smoky Mountains came in the number two spot on this list and they had a couple suggestions on where and when to choose the best drives. The suggested drives are Clingmans Dome Road in early fall to catch the high elevation changes and you can reach Tennessee's highest peak at 6,643 feet! Then toward the end of October try the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail where you will pass beautiful waterfalls and plenty of hiking trails.

| New to Pigeon Forge this Christmas Season!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  Smoky Mountain Opry's Christmas Spectacular is a high energy Christmas show with Christmas Spirit like no one else! This new holiday tradition begins November 4, 2011 with the opening of the Smoky Mountain Opry's Christmas Spectacular. The Smoky Mountain Opry Theater, formerly the Miracle Theater, will be home to a major production featuring singers, dancers, a live band, flying sugarplum fairies, fiber-optic costumes and snow. Outside the theater you will find an extensive Christmas festival, "Christmasfest at the Opry," with shopping, a stage for choral groups' performances and a public ice-skating rink. The "Smoky Mountain Opry's Christmas Spectacular" and "Christmasfest at the Opry" will run through December 31.
