Question of the Week!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This section is dedicated to you, our readers! Feel free to reply to this email with any of your fun stories from your vacation in Pigeon Forge. Send us photos, memories, travel tips, anything that you would like to tell us about your experience in the Smokies. Every week we will highlight reader's comments in this article. Thanks for all the feedback. We love to hear from you!
This week's question, "The Fall season calls for lots of new flavors and recipes including, chili, caramel apples and pumpkin pies, do you have a favorite fall food that you look forward to each year?"
Last week's question, "What are your favorite outdoor activities to participate in during the fall season in the Smokies?"
Tom writes, "Just being in the mountains in the Fall is great. College football is always better in the mountains. Seeing all the people with the different shirts and sweatshirts from schools all over the south and beyond.  Getting apples and homemade goodies from many different shops and farms. Feeling the cool breeze as it rolls off the mountains and walking the towns looking at the different Fall displays. There are so many more..."
Debbie says, "Taking pictures of all the beautiful decorations and fall colors."
Carolyn writes, "We come to the Great Smoky Mountains several times each year.  Our favorite time is in November because we usually arrive just when the Christmas lights are being turned on in the three cities.  We enjoy riding the Light Trolleys and also driving around on our own to see all of the beautiful lights and decorations.  The weather is usually perfect; not too cold and not too warm. We enjoy the Christmas shows in Pigeon Forge. We enjoy spending a few days at Dollywood, taking in all of the beautiful decorations and the great Christmas shows.  There is never a bad time to be in the Smokies but we do very much like the mountains in the Fall."
