~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This section is dedicated to you, our readers! Feel free to reply to this email with any of your fun stories from your vacation in Pigeon Forge. Send us photos, memories, travel tips, anything that you would like to tell us about your experience in the Smokies. Every week we will highlight reader's comments in this article. Thanks for all the feedback. We love to hear from you!
This week's question, "Pigeon Forge has great shopping! Where are some of your favorite places to shop when you're in town?"
Last week's question, "Have you ever been horseback riding in the Smokies? Tell us about it!"
Kathleen writes, "At our Annual Girls Week Out in the mtns we always try something different. So 7 middleaged women go to the stables outside Gatlinburg. After the supreme effort of getting everyone on the horses the guide took us on a beautiful path through the woods and over the creek. How peaceful. Then back to the stable to dismount and try to walk back to the car with our sore muscles!!!! We still talk about our adventure."
Frank says, "Me and my wife have gone horseback riding in Cades Cove at the Cades Cove Stables. What fun we had, especially wifey. She absolutely loves horses. It was a nice easy ride with beautiful scenery. Hope to do it again one day."
Tom writes, "Yes, as a child and loved it, now I am taking my children to go horseback riding when come up to the mountains the end of July. It will be the first time my kids have ever done this and we cannot wait. One of my most memorable trips to the mountains as a child, was when my parents took me and my sister horseback riding in the Smokies." |
