It is great to see families coming together, kids playing on the rocks, couples holding hands and everyone just enjoying the beauty of the Smoky Mountains. It feels safe there, the water is soothing, the views are beautiful and it is just a little piece of Heaven here on Earth."

Dolly Kicks off Her Better Day Tour in Knoxville
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  Dolly Parton kicks off her Better Day Tour in Knoxville, TN on July 17. This will be the first time in at least 26 years she's performed a local show outside Sevier County. The show will be at Thompson Bowling Arena but no other information has been released. Tickets will go on sale early April and Dolly's Dollyites, her online fans, will have first dibs on the tickets. | A Piece of the Smokies is in a New Movie "Paul"

Gabriella Solomon-Henry, a local doll maker, was discovered through her ETSY website by one of the movie's prop masters. Newly released movie, "Paul" is about an alien who who crash-landed in the 1940s and the government found him. When Paul escapes 60 years later he wants to return a teddy bear that was cleaned up with the area of the crash to a little girl. That's where Henry comes in. She was hired by the movie's prop master to create six identical bears that were authentic to the 1940s and distressed. She shares her whole process of distressing the bears with her oven and husband's sander. She now has a "Hollywood Bear" on display at CliffDwellers in Gatlinburg.
