Last week's question, "We love our Pigeon Forge car shows! Will you be attending the Spring Grand Rod Run?"
Nickolas writes, "Yes we will be attending the spring rod run. We have been to the spring and fall rod runs for the past few years now. Me and my wife got married last year on March 26, 2010 so last year's spring rod run was like our honeymoon, this year it will be our one year anniversary we can't wait. We both love the smoky mtns so much."
Mike and Brenda say, "Spring Rod Run? No thanks! We travel to the Smokies from southern Illinois 3 - 4 times a year. After the first time we were there during a rod run we make sure to check the events calendar before making a reservation so we don't get "caught" again. If you are there for the rod run it is GREAT! If you are not there for the rod run it's just a traffic jam. To each his own."
Joyce writes, "Absolutely will be there; my husband goes for the cars and I go for the antiquing. We both love our time in Pigeon Forge enjoying all the cars, restaurants and the beauty in the mountains."

Pigeon Forge 5K Races ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  There are two upcoming 5K races in Pigeon Forge that are both for a great cause. The first 5K is called Preserving the Mountain in Me on April 16 where all proceeds benefit the education programs of Keep Sevier Beautiful. The next 5K race is the Smoky Mountain Area Rescue Ministries' third annual 5K May Rescue Run on May 7. This race benefits the poor and needy of Sevier County. SMARM is inviting the community to get on their feet again this year and make a difference for their neighbors who are struggling to survive. We hope to see you at these great events! We are proud to announce that not only did Pigeon Forge, Tennessee rank as #4 on the list, Gatlinburg followed closely behind at #6.
