Helen says, "My family's favorite place to take our picture is by the waterfall at the Old Mill in Pigeon Forge everytime we visit the kids want their picture taken there, it is so beautiful."
Kathleen writes, "Best photo spot is in front of the Old Mill in Cades Cove. Another spot is on the bridge with the Old Mill Restaurant in the background."
Kelly says, "It would not be a summer vacation without a picture at the Still Museum behind Hillbilly Village!"

Weekend Snow in Pigeon Forge
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 The weekend forecast called for snow, a lot of snow! It was very cold and a little snowy, but we didn't see significant snow accumulation until late Sunday night/early Monday morning. The Sevier County area received up to 6 inches on snow in the lower elevations. In Gatlinburg and the higher elevations there could be up to 10 inches of snow! The snow continued to fall throughout the day Monday and Tuesday with little accumulation. These may not be the best driving conditions but they are perfect for snowball fights, sledding and snowman building! If you're in the Smokies be sure to take advantage and get out there and have some fun in the snow!

Professional Ice Carving Competition

 Check out the Titanic's First Pigeon Forge Professional Ice Carving Competition! It's a free family event on Saturday, January 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This is a Titanic FREE, family-themed, outdoor event. Visitors are invited to come to Titanic's outdoor staging center and watch professional and amateur sculptors turn 250-pound blocks of ice into frozen works of art.
