Two New Shows in 2011!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 
There will be some changes to two of the current dinner shows in town in 2011! The Hoot N' Holler Dinner Show at WonderWorks will be replaced by Terry Evanswood's "Wonders of Magic" show. This means the Hoot N' Holler Dinner Show will come to an end in 2011. If you haven't seen Hoot N' Holler and would like to, you only have two months left to check it out!
The Blackbear Jamboree will be turning into the Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Feud and Stunt Show in April of 2011. The Blackbear Jamboree will be showing their Christmas show now through the end of the year, and will then start preparing for the new stunt show featuring a true story of these feuding families. |

Veterans Day in Gatlinburg

 The City of Gatlinburg will have its annual Veterans Day celebration at 11 am on the plaza at Ripley's Aquarium on November 11. Gatlinburg is an official regional site for the observance of Veterans Day as designated by the Veterans Day National Committee, Department of Veterans Affairs. Gatlinburg is one of two cities in Tennessee and there are only 41 in the country to hold this distinction. This affiliates Gatlinburg with activities taking place at the National Veterans Day observance at Arlington National Cemetery. Other activities at the celebration will include recognition of veterans, patriotic music from the Knoxville Opera, Gatlinburg Pittman High School Band and Walters State Community College. There will also be a military flyover, a bald eagle presentation and more.

November 10: Winter Magic Kickoff & Chili Cookoff - The City of Gatlinburg kicks off Gatlinburg Winter Magic™ from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on the Downtown Parkway by turning on over three million lights. Enjoy live entertainment by the Marvelettes, sample chili recipes from local restaurants and businesses. Spectacular fireworks at dusk during the opening ceremony are sponsored by Mountain Rentals of Gatlinburg.
November 11: Veterans Day Celebration - Join Gatlinburg in saluting America's veterans. Stirring musical tribute on Ripley's Aquarium Plaza.
November 13 - January 1: Titanic Pigeon Forge "Christmas in a Winter Wonderland" - Every Friday and Saturday Evening at 7:00 p.m. November 13, 2010-January 1, 2011, FREE in Parking Lot - Bring your Cameras! It will snow - yes, REAL snow - at the Titanic Pigeon Forge every Friday and Saturday evening. The snow is part of the museum's "Christmas in a Winter Wonderland," which is dedicated to honoring and celebrating the lives of the 2,208 passengers and crew of the Titanic. November 10 - 30: Winterfest Trolley Tour of Lights - Fun Time Trolley Station @ Patriot Park (Mon. through Fri. only) 6:30 p.m. Cost is $5.00. Call Trolley Office @ (865) 453-6444 for reservations and departure times.
