Tennessee's First Legal Moonshine Distillery
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ole Smoky Distillery is eager to debut the first legal moonshine distillery in Gatlinburg, Tennessee! The distillery will open July 2 at 903 Parkway for moonshine tastings and distillery tours that will feature an authentic working moonshine still. The distillery also has a museum for guests to enjoy, including photographic and narrative exhibits that highlight the history of moonshining in East Tennessee. At the Grand Opening they will offer free tours and tastings for the special day. Everyone come out and tour Tennessee's first legal moonshine distillery!

| Gatlinburg Craftsmen's Fair
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ July 16 - 24 art, crafts and music lovers can find almost 200 booths featuring some of the nation's finest work. At the Gatlinburg Craftsmen's Fair there are artisans and craftspeople are on hand to demonstrate their skills, answer questions and offer their unique art for sale. There is also FREE live Country & Bluegrass entertainment throughout the day, everyday. The fair is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Gatlinburg Convention Center. Also, the Gatlinburg Craftsmen's Fair celebrates their 35th year this year!

July 3: 20th Annual Patriot Festival at Patriot Park in the heart of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Festivities get started at 1:00 p.m. The City of Pigeon Forge offers many musical performances, food from local non-profit organizations, several inflateables and activities for children; THEN the night sky will come to life with a fantastic fireworks display! The fireworks usually start at 9:30-9:45 p.m.
July 3 - 4: Midnight Independence Day Parade - For the 35th consecutive year, Gatlinburg kicks off America's Independence Day celebration with the nation's first parade, which leads off at midnight (12:00 a.m.) on Saturday.
