Gatlinburg Screenfest ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Gatlinburg Screenfest Festival will feature independent films and filmmakers from all over the nation March 26 through 28 at the River Terrace Resort. This event is open to the public. Screenfest will kick off with a free networking party on Friday night, with free screenings of last year's winners Saturday morning. On Saturday evening, a free workshop will be presented by Talent Trek Agency for people interested in working in the film industry. Sunday evening's awards ceremony will wrap up the event.
Screenings of this year's selections will continue throughout the festival starting Friday night and ending Sunday afternoon. Tickets for the screenings.

The Smoky Mountains will come alive this spring after such a cold winter! It will soon be warming up and all the beautiful flowers will be in bloom. Pigeon Forge has a lot of Spring time activities and events, one of the the big ones being Springfest, which is going on now through the 5th of June. Also April 3rd is Herb and Wildflower Day, The Smoky Mountains are home to more than 1,500 kinds of flowering plants, baked goods and handmade pottery.
