Thanks for all the feedback. We love to hear from you.
Question of the Week, "Has anyone been married in Pigeon Forge or the Smokies? Tell us your story!"
Last week's question, "Have you had a great experience in the Smokies that you would like to share? If so, we would love to hear about it."
Marge writes "Our best time in the Smokies was when our son and daughter-in-law got married in Gatlinburg. It was 8 years ago Oct. 20. Weather was in the 80's, leaves were beautiful. Drove to Clingman's dome after ceremony and was a great week-end. Any time is great. We usually plan a trip around car shows."
Karina says, "After doing chemo in Tenn Morristown for breast cancer we spent Thanksgiving at PigeonForge and enjoyed the miles and miles of crafts and also Dollywood Show and Dinner. We then enjoyed the shopping and quilts, etc. It was fun. It took the pain away from it all and the bad memories. I wouldn't mind going back there again someday. I can't remember the names of the restaurants but I did enjoy the food there so inexpensive and so plentiful." |
| Fall Foliage
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We are in the peak of the fall colors here in the Smokies! There are beautiful reds, oranges, and yellows covering the mountains. They are not going to last forever though we'll probably see these colors for the next couple weeks and then they will be gone! Try taking a nice scenic drive through the mountains one weekend, or check out some historic sites, theres plenty to do out there to enjoy this beautiful season! Plan your trip to the Smokies today and make sure you get to enjoy these beautiful fall colors!
