Greetings!
It's almost October! Can you believe it? The year has blown by so fast, but we're very excited to welcome cooler weather, the fall season, and YOU for some very special events. Read on for our full schedule of "Savor Fall" FREE programs beginning September 19. Riding on the success of last year's programs, we welcome guest hosts once again including Chef Jeff Glomski of Barrio Grill and Chef Chris Baldwin of Delectables. Leona Davis will also be back; she is with Technicians for Sustainability and will be addressing the timely topic of water harvesting.

Local Artist Ade Sponberg
ADE SPONBERG has worked with metal as a hobby for over ten years. His greatest reward is providing joy to the people who admire and appreciate his wonderful art. And you will find Ade's bold and alluring artwork hanging in the east side of our Remarkable Garden Center.
Ade hails from Minnesota, but he has called Tucson "home" since 1998. This is when he and his wife retired and relocated to the desert Southwest, and we're glad they did! |

Frost Cover
Freezing temperatures are bad news for many plants. But you can rest easy with this new item from Frost Protek. These frost covers will protect your container plants from high winds, cold temps, and intense sunlight. It's not a sheet, but a convenient drawstring bag that won't blow away. They can remain on your plants for longer periods of time without damage because the sunlight can still get through.
Easy-on, easy-off plant protection from Frost Protek. Available in green or white and medium and large sizes. Plenty are in stock and located in our Hard Goods section.
