Adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah Class
|
If you've ever considered becoming a Bar/Bat Mitzvah as an adult, but have been putting it off for any of a variety of reasons, now is the time to make a commitment.
Our class will begin this fall and culminate with a celebration in the spring of 2012. Over the course of two years, students will study a variety of subject areas, including Hebrew, Jewish history, Jewish customs, and life-cycle events and will learn to participate in a traditional or Yom Tov service. If enough people do express an interest, we will hold an informational meeting in June to discuss details of the program. Please call Jan at the synagogue office or email her to say ... "Sign me up!" |

JFCS Family Table Request

JFCS Family Table is requesting that our
Temple continue supporting the 500 disadvantaged families in the Greater Boston area serviced by
JFCS monthly. We are being asked to gather, on a monthly basis, 45

Please
