Please keep in mind that these are just gathering places. We are there to chat and meet new couples. We will be out in the general public and must act accordingly. Anyone abusing the establishments rules or policies will not be considered for our future gatherings. Since these meetings are in the members general locality, please respect the anonymity of others. We just want to keep things low key.

Also we would like to remind you that these are "Couples Oriented Events". These are for couples looking for other couples and single females. If we wanted single guys we would just go to a regular bar and not organize such a dance.

We apologize for repeating ourselves with a lot of redundant information on this newsletter but, with the number of new sign ups we have to keep sending these rules.

Chrome worked well in September so we are back once again this month. They have changed the place a little since the last time we where there. Its now called "Chrome" Tequila Cafe. DJ Richie Rich from our Halloween party is slated to be spinning the tunes this weekend. We will have "Tasteful Treasures by Dawn" on hand selling toys so you can do some Christmas shopping while your are there. Also, don't forget they have $1 Shoot The Ladies Saturday Night Special ($1 Tequila Poppers and shots from 7-9pm). That should get the party rolling!

If you are receiving this newsletter then you have been successfully added to the Virginia Friends Hampton Roads gatherings list. No need to reply or asked to be added again unless you change your email address. However we do ask that you email us if you plan on attending so we can plan accordingly or if you are on SLS please add yourself to the list via the events page..

There seems to be some confusion on what a "Gathering" is and a "Social" is. So here you go: A social is a full blown party where we rent our own exclusive Banquet Room followed by a party at the hotel. The "Gatherings" are just that. These happen in between socials and are just a way to meet other couples in your local area. Since the "Social" is in Central Virginia we have "Gatherings" in Hampton Roads area. "Socials" are a weekend event where as the "Gatherings" are a short nightly event held at a public bar.

There is a larger than usual number of couples coming from out of town this weekend. Some of us are staying at the Cedar Tree Inn and they always say they are booked but every time I check in the day of the party after 3pm, they always have rooms. If you plan on staying, the number is 757-366- 0100. The rate is $79 (plus $14 tax) for a room. For a small upgrade fee you can get a suite with a heart shaped hot tub in the room. The address is 721 Conference Center Drive Chesapeake, VA 23320. However, the backup Hotel will be the Hampton Inn on Woodlake Blvd Located directly behind the bar within staggering distance. The room are a lot nicer but the rate is $109 (plus tax). They are located at 701 Woodlake Drive, Chesapeake. (757) 420-1550

We have secured a section in "Chome". So far we have had over 90 couples say they were cumming. Also we have a lot more couples coming from out of town this month. The dress is casual. Entry fee is $5 after 7:00pm, free if you get there before.

We cannot stress how important it is to get there before 7:00 PM. Not only will you not have to pay a cover but we can reserve more seats around us. Please plan accordingly so your arrival time will be as close to 7pm as possible. We have secured the Pool table section for our group. It will be semi private as there are a few regulars that are in that section every month. However we have never had any issues.

We will be designated the "VAF" group at the door and we will be near the pool table area. Remember, there is no charge for this event other than the door fee if there is one and you don't have to be a member.

If you missed the Halloween event in Richmond then you missed the best party of the year. Lots of new couples that had never been to a VAF event said they would be back for New Years because they had such a great time. Be sure to add yourself to the list on SLS to let everyone know your coming.
