Join us for our second 2009 Hampton Roads "Gathering" on March 7th. The place is in Virginia Beach / Chesapeake. The venue is located right off the interstate, central to Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake and Portsmouth. If you are coming from the Peninsula, it is very easy to get especially without the traffic. It will start at 7:00pm. Those getting there late may not get a place near our group since we have reserved an area in the club. Also by arriving before 7:00pm you will avoid the $5 cover charge. However, if you mention that you are with Virginia Friends or our code word "VAF" they might cut you a deal. Usually we'll have our own semi-private area near the pool tables.

Lately, we have had a lot of couples that have been staying in a nearby hotel within walking distance. We have talked with the management and secured rooms for $49.00 a night. Last month we has several couple stay and had an after hours social at the hotel. Let us know if you are planning to attend so we can give you the details. Remember, these gatherings are intended for couples only. Please do not advertise the location to the public.

Also for we have a special event just to pass the time away for March since we will not have an event in Richmond. We will have a "Members Only" party in Hampton Roads on March 22nd. It will be held at a private club and be BYOL. (Bring your own Liquor). Beer and set ups are extra. You must me a registered VAF member to attend. It will be $20 per couple to attend this event. $5 discount for those that RSVP. Details will be released this weekend at the "Gathering".

Due to a scheduling conflict in April with the hotel we are moving the date to April 10th and 11th for our Annual "Leather and Lace" party in Richmond. The hotel is taking reservations now.
