To that cantankerous tinkerer who drove his/her contemporaries crazy with idiosyncratic organizing strategies. "I thought I told you to throw that away!" You did. I didn't. "This cabinet is busted! Fix it or toss it!" I'll get around to it. Maybe. "I can't find anything in here!" BIG!NYC can! 
Just over the river on the mainland, in a county they call Westchester, there lies a barn. Beneath the thick accumulation of dust on the smooth cement floor one can discern the painted lines of a makeshift basketball court. What once was a rustic recreational facility became the workshop for the nearby elementary school. What have we here!?! Sinks, doors, miscellaneous hardware, a perfectly scarred workbench, a zinc topped storage table, etc., etc., etc. Detritus isn't an ailment. It's a treasure!
Be aware though, there may be a possum in that cabinet . . .they cost extra. |

Scaffolding Lumber ASTORIA: We recently recieved a large quanitity of scaffolding lumber. The pieces measure roughly 2"x9" and are about 10 feet long. We are selling them at $1.50 a linear foot. They have a nice "distressed" look that gives the appearance of much more valuable old-growth wood at a fraction the price.

ASTORIA: Really cool old factory/loft windows. Great vintage look. We have five windows. Three are missing panels and most have some cracks, but the glass on these is easily replaceable. The windows measure approx. 54"x56"x1.75". They have a wooden frame with 12 small glass panels. They are selling for the low price of $100 each.
