Meet Terry

terry

Terry Eacker has been with the Mansion for six years.  She is particularly busy every spring getting the grounds ready for all of our visitors.

The flowers around the Mansion are a highlight of most everyone's trip.

In her spare time, Terry likes to garden, play with her cats, and watch Nascar.  If time permits, she loves to go fishing, especially fly fishing.

The thing she likes the best about working here is the staff, the Mansion, and Sweetie Pie.  Plus making the grounds beautiful for the guests and the brides.

We appreciate her hard work and dedication in keeping the Mansion looking beautiful!

Cast Iron Stove

Kitchen Stove

Although it might be a little daunting to think of cooking on the Conrad's cast iron stove, it was state of the art in its day.  One can only imagine the delicious meals that might have been created by the staff.  The stove was made in France by Duparquet, Hout & Moneuse Co. in 1894 and features three ovens and four stovetop burners.  The stove was fueled by wood.

On your next visit I hope you will take a few minutes to appreciate this incredible cast iron stove.
