LYNX is early in the process of developing a major update to their Transit Development Plan (TDP) for years 2013-2022. The TDP is a ten-year plan intended to support the development of an effective multi-modal transportation system. The plan will include:
- Agency vision, mission and goals
- An analysis of socio-economic trends, transportation plans, policies, organizational issues, and technology
- An estimate of the community's demand for transit services
- A performance evaluation of service currently provided
- Identification of alternative courses of action including new and adjusted routes and services
- An Implementation plan, including program, policy, monitoring, and financial components
Riders, stakeholders, and the public are encouraged to take part in the planning process through a series of workshops, presentations, and meetings.
LYNX wants to extend a direct invitation to YOU to attend a workshop that will take place on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the LYNX Central Station Main Terminal, 455 N. Garland Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801. The public and stakeholder involvement effort will continue throughout the Spring.
