Dear Neighbors,

I realize that none of us like sitting in traffic and that the construction on Alafaya Trail could not be finished fast enough.  In any event, I want to keep all residents well informed of traffic safety associated with this project.

Reflective pavement markers (RPMs) missing mainly along the transition/curved areas are likely due to the heavy equipment and normal construction activities.  These RPMs will primarily be replaced along these areas and this work should be completed before the end of this week.

Additionally, the contractor will install "speed limit advisory" and "speeding fines doubled" signs through the temporary transition/curved areas.  These signs will denote the advisory speed limit and should be up by the end of next week.

Thank you for your patience during the construction on this road and please drive safely.  It is my pleasure to serve our community.

Regards,

Jennifer Thompson
