As you may be aware, Orange County is in the middle of our redistricting process and our final decision has been postponed to Tuesday, November 29th.

After a very lengthy discussion this past week by the board of county commissioners and after listening to over 19 hours of public testimony by the public during the committee process, I have put together a map proposal that satisfies the many needs of the community moving forward.

During our board meeting this week, I did not have the necessary support to move my ideas forward.  Therefore, I am asking for your input on my map proposal.  Please tell me what you think works and what you think does not work and why.  I will take all of your comments into consideration as I once again argue for the proposal that I believe in.

New Map Proposal to be presented for discussion on Tuesday, Nov. 22

Memo sent to the BCC requesting consideration of this map

If you are so inclined, please communicate your comments back to all of the following addresses as I am not able to communicate with other commissioners because of Sunshine Law.

Fred Brummer, district2@ocfl.net
