As discussed, we are putting together several committees and events to help stay connected throughout District 4.
Faith Community Outreach Committee - collection of faith based leaders from throughout District 4. The first meeting will be on Tuesday, July 19 at 6 p.m., located at the Agriculture Center at 6021 S. Conway Road. Please contact Karri.Simpson@ocfl.net if you are interested in serving on this committee.
Cultural Affairs Committee - this committee will assist my office in community outreach efforts, diversity initiatives and the planning of District 4's inaugural Three Kings Day Celebration event. Our first committee meeting will be on Wednesday, August 31 at 6:30 p.m., at the Meadowoods Orlando Magic Recreation Center, located on 1751 Rhode Island Woods Way. The Pine Castle Crime Prevention Meeting is next Thursday, June 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the Pine Castle Women's Club located at 5901 South Orange Avenue.
Our Back to School event is Saturday, August 13, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Orlando Magic Recreational Center located at 1751 Rhode Island Woods Way. Mark your calendars and stay tuned for more details.
