There is a meeting of the charter review commission today at 4:30pm.
If you happen to be downtown, I'd welcome for you to stop by and see what it's all about. I've been told that today we may begin hearing discussions related to consolidation, limited government and the addition of a 7th district for Hispanic citizens. The charter review commission is responsible for suggesting changes to the county charter and for bringing items to referendum for voter input. At these meetings, there is always time for public input should you desire to speak.
