Immunization Clinic - July 24 & Aug 28
10:00 - 11:30 AM & 1:15 - 3:00 PM at the South Side Community Centre, 1578 Wolfe Ave., Petawawa.
A public Health Nurse is available to provide vaccinations and update immunization charts. Appointments are required.

| | Deployment Monthly Activity: Mini Putt Tickets (July)
The PMFRC and DSC invite families who have a loved one away (deployed, course, tasking, IR, etc.) to enjoy a game of Mini Putt at the Civic Centre. One set per family while quantities last. Pick up at the Deployment Support Centre (DSC) office at the South Side Community Centre, 1578 Wolfe Ave.

Deployment Monthly Activity: Pikwakanagan Pow Wow - Aug 18
11:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Depart from the South Side Community Centre, 1578 Wolfe Ave. $5 per family. Registration required by Aug 13 The PMFRC and DSC invite families who have a loved one away (deployed, course, tasking, IR, etc.) to join us for an afternoon at the Algonquin's of Pikwakanagan Annual Pow Wow. Road to Mental Readiness: Pre-Deployment or Reintegration R2MR Workshops Deployment Road to Mental Readiness (R2MR) workshops are an interactive deployment information session geared towards helping family members of deployed soldiers navigate through the emotional cycle of deployment, including the pre-deployment and reintegration phases. Let's talk about expectations and normalities regarding their departure and/or homecoming and answer any questions about the deployment highway, as well as our deployment supports and services.
If you missed and/or are interested in attending R2MR workshops, please call so that we can generate a list of interest.

Prenatal Nutrition Program - Summer Break!

The Parent and Child Play N Learn program enable parents, grandparents, caregivers and children from ages birth-6 years old to gather and share the joys and challenges of both caring for and raising children.

Little athletes, join us on July 26th, 27th, and 31st to get ready for the big day! Find out about the Olympic culture, learn a small choreography of the opening ceremony and have fun practicing the different sports for the upcoming big day! Every day you come enters you for a draw to win some London Olympics items!
August 2 will be the official event! Come try all kinds of different sports and get your picture taken on the podium with your medal!!!

Infant massage improves the function of a baby's brain, heart and liver. It also improves blood flow, and strengthens gastrointestinal and respiratory tract function. The practical value of baby-massage is most apparent when dealing with colic, constipation, weaning, teething, and sleep difficulties. On top of the benefits of this activity, it is a great experience and leaves your baby feeling relaxed.

Well Baby Drop-In - Every Wednesday 1:30 - 3:30 PM located at 1578 Wolfe Ave., Petawawa. Free. An opportunity for parents to measure height and weight of your baby/tot. A public health nurse is present to discuss nutrition, breastfeeding, parenting and more.

- Kiddie Kollege Nursery School is a cooperative, inclusive pre-school readiness program
- Kiddie Kollege is a cooperative experience, which encourages parent participation on a rotational basis. There are options for parents who are unavailable during the day.
