The Parent and Child Play N Learn program enable parents, grandparents, caregivers and children from ages birth-6 years old to gather and share the joys and challenges of both caring for and raising children.

Judy Hill, dietitian at the Petawawa Family Health Centre will explain to parents and caregivers:
* What a child needs to eat to stay healthy;
* The impact of malnutrition on a child;
* Simple, healthy recipes and;
* How to get a child to try new food.
She will also answer any specific questions you might have.

A public Health Nurse is available to provide vaccinations and update immunization charts. Appointments are required.

Prenatal Nutrition Program - Every Wed & Thurs Wednesdays: North Side - Roman Catholic Chapel, Petawawa,11:30 AM - 1:30 PM Thursdays: South Side Community Centre, 1578 Wolfe Ave., Petawawa 12:00 - 2:00 PM. Participate in cooking a nutritious lunch, listen to guest speakers and build a support network with other women.
