The Soul of The Community
I don't know what happened, but I seem to be filled with divine words. Poetry seems to flow from me like rivers of life. They come so quickly that it is painful, as I pour myself and God onto the keyboard before me.
All of these words, emotions, this magic, turns to black dots and curved lines on a white screen, testifying of a life that is possible for all of us who choose to live at the center of the Divine. But living at the center of the Divine begins with discomfort. In our society we have learned that being successful and being a good person leads to comfort.
Comfort has almost become the god of our material focused world. Creating words, labels, streams of thought and intent, the right type of conditioning, has created chains in our minds that don't allow us to explore that which is new.
The chains only exist in our minds, but that is enough to hinder us from the joy that awaits anyone who dares to break down the boundaries and live life fully. The door is open now because of external circumstance as the system melts down, but no one dare enter without the approval of the system.
As every systems theorist knows, one will not find the cure for the disease in the system from the system. Depending on the system to cure its core disease is sad and will ultimately lead to the loss of the opportunity to grow, and expand as it grows stagnant and reactionary.
It is amusing that these words and ones that challenge the system, come from the same source from which the living waters of poetry flow. This has always been the case. Truth always has poured from the heart of the creator. As the Tao Te Ching says, "Honest words are not polished and polished words are not honest."
What does all of this mean? You are a great bird trapped in the cage of thoughts, ideas and fantasies all created to help you survive in a world that you were born into, but didn't create. As the truly creative person you are, you have the power to recreate the world and make it into the world that your parents wanted for you, and that your children deserve.
First, however, you must find the beauty within. Most of this is possible just by learning to stop listening to external voices that tell you that you are less and unworthy, and the internal voices that either repeat back those statements day after day, or attempt to override them by going too far in the other direction.
You are a beautiful, wonderful being. There is no need for you to prove it by performing better than the next person. You need only except it, sit with it, and live it, and this idea will become like a lovely, marriage partner buried deep in the recesses of your soul.
Namaste,
