Where Do We Go From Here?
My path is now as clear as yours. We both came in this world as beings of light and the ability to create what we would. We descended into the Earth to promote newness and growth. Most of the mystical branches of every religion have a reference to this. One of the most well know ones is the creation of humanity in the Hebrew Scripture. It said that Adam was taken from the Earth and God breathed his spirit into Adam. When the Spirit of God and Earth met Adam became a living soul.
That is what we are. We are living souls, only because we have the breath of God in us, and the soul of the Earth. We are the weaving together of heaven and Earth, the sacred marriage between two things that are often in opposition to each other, but need not be. It is time for us to remember who we are and renew this sacred union.
We have been taught that we are separate from the Earth. We have been taught that we must subject it, or that we can become spiritual by getting rid of anything that connects us to the Earth. If that were the case, however, God would not had decided to join with Earth. If the human soul consists of God and Earth combined, who are you, really?
You are God and Earth combined. And so we come into the world in a vessel arisen from the Earth. The sacred marriage vowel is one between the spirit and body. The body will rise up from the Earth. We will care for it, nurture it, and use its hands to heal the Earth from whence it comes.
In return the body will carry our heavenly spirit and be faitful to us. It will be a vehicle to allow us to channel our creativity and love into the material world to recreate it into a place of peace and joy. It will serve as a testing ground to strengthen our resolve and allow us to grow, to dance, to celebrate---to have the experience of being an individual who is alone and solitary, as well as part of a community and part of the universe.
This is the sacred union, the ending of all opposites that return us to our sacred selves not only somewhere out there, but on Earth as it is in heaven. This is the opportunity for all of us to express our creativity and to usher in love. The only difficulty is that we can sometimes forget who we are if we are in situations where we are taught incorrectly, or are filled with images of ourselves being sinful, lacking wholeness and fullness.
Every so often, however, we take off the blinders and realize who and what we really are. Sometimes it happens because of tragedy. Sometimes it happens when we are listening to a beautiful peace of music, or standing out under a beautiful, star filled sky. When we have a chance to forget what we are supposed to be and how we are supposed to behave and we flow with live and action, we realize that we are one with everyone else and everything.
The next time this happens to you hold on to that experience because instead of being the exception it is the nature of the reality of the universe and who you are. The daily life is the destraction. The world in which we live is the one created by fearful men who no longer remember wh they are, but you are the light of the world. Remember this, who and what you really are, and joy will be your constant partner
Namaste,
