CVS has a cross-dock operation that requires printing and applying a label onto the top of various sized boxes and often overfilled totes with tented tops. Its existing print and apply labeler did not perform consistently on the uneven top surfaces.

Seeking a more reliable design, CVS contacted LabelPack. Our solution was to design a print and apply labeler with a custom tamp that extends until it contacts the box or tote, pivots in any direction to match the uneven top surface, and immediately returns to pick up the next label.
