Desperation, Tragedy and Victory

Do you have a couple of hours to volunteer? We will be helping with a Holocaust Survivors' Program at Jewish Reconstructionist Congregation, 303 Dodge, Evanston from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. We will be scooping food from large containers into serving bowls, setting tables, serving hot beverages, light clean-up and talking with the survivors. We are looking for families to come bake brownies and assemble lunches for Beth Emet Soup Kitchen. This is a great opportunity for all family members, from pre-schoolers to grandparents, all are welcome! Children must be accompanied by adults.
