Always Something New
We are super excited to be carrying unique and funky new yarns by Biscotte et Cie from Quebec. Their Felix and self-striping Felix yarns are machine washable and perfect for socks, hats, gloves, scarves and more. Some of our favourites include Poisson, that self stripes Nemo's eye-catching colours, and Carousel, with its wonderful, whirligig pattern. As they say "this yarn will fit all the desires of your muse."
If you're looking for project ideas, Ysolda's new book, Saturday Treat, has a variety of scrumptious accessory patterns featuring interesting details with cables, lace or both together. And, knitwear designers Alana Dakos of Never Not Knitting and Hannah Fettig of Knitbot have come together to produce Coastal Knits, a compilation of ten fresh designs. Inspired by their favourite local destinations, the collection includes sweaters and accessory patterns for knitters of all levels.
