Update from Student Services
Even though fall semester is just in its fourth week,  we still have a lot going on! Activities are in high gear all around campus, and our students are already proving to be quite amazing! This past Saturday, the WSCC float in the Cullman County Fair Parade and our music and theatre students stole the show with their costumes, performances and candy.  Our volleyball and soccer teams are currently undefeated (hopefully,  I did not jinx anything by just saying that!). Our campus has hosted several groups, such as the Blount County Career Day for seniors and the Cullman County Career Day as well. This past Sunday served as kickoff day for the Best Robotics Competition that will be held in our Coliseum in late October. We celebrated Constitution Day with trivia and voter registration and look forward to our annual Student Activities Day coming up very soon. Wallace State Leadership participants have been selected and we look forward to a great year working together as we learn about ourselves, our institution, our community and our system. A celebration for our Alumni of the Year just occurred last Friday, proving yet another time that we have so many things of which to be proud. We are accomplishing these things as our move from the Bailey Center continues, hopefully providing a seamless transition for our students. Our student body is 6,500 strong. This is a time to be reminded that excellence abounds at Wallace State and our college provides a great environment for students to learn, lead and grow. We are Wallace State.
